There are seven reports (181 pages)from the Owen Campaign to the State Ethics Board. The Owen reports are filed as hard copies, not as computer data, so
they must be scanned and cannot be searched and sorted as to location or amount. I examined the four most recent reports and have listed what I believe to be the most obvious contributions from regulated utilities. There are more! Entergy, for instance, the States largest utility, is not listed at all. The presidents of Entergy, the numerous law firms it employs, principals in those firms, and children of the principals, as well as Entergy subcontractors, are listed. I do not know of all these connections but have listed some of which I am aware. Contributors names can be searched in the La State Corporation records to deter- mine associations with business controlled or strongly influenced by Entergy or other utilities. I have not done this yet. I believe that the regulated utilities have contributed, directly and indirectly, more than half of the Owen campaign funds. Remember this list when you wonder why OUR rates are so high.
